The features of the Hikmicro Habrok 4K HE25LN in review

A highlight is the design of the device, which is Binocularly designed You can see through it with both eyes, what is easy on the eyesWith conventional monoculars, you often have to squint one eye, which can lead to facial tension after several hours. adjustable eye relief and diopter compensation for every eye provide additional comfortHere you can adjust everything according to your preferences. The device offers numerous setting options: On the left you can focus the daylight channel, on the right the thermal imaging channel and in the middle the spotlightThe buttons are easy to reach and intuitive to use, so that you will have mastered the operation after just a few minutes in the field or on the seat.

From Power Supply The device is also well equipped. It uses 18650 batteries, two of which are easily replaceable and located at the bottom of the deviceThe manufacturer states an operating time of eight hours. In practice, we had the device continuously six hours in use (Wi-Fi off and tilt sensor on)before we had to replace the batteries, which is perfectly acceptable. Please note that the batteries can only be charged in the charging cradle, even if the instructions say otherwise. To protect the devices, charging in the device is not possible.

Compared to other binocular devices, the Hikmicro Habrok 4K HE25LN very handy. With a weight of 892 grams including Batteries fit comfortably in the hand and is reminiscent of a 42mm pair of binoculars. The handling and weight are very user friendly, which makes it comfortable to use over longer periods of time – great!

  • Daylight mode: The daylight mode of the Hikmicro Habrok 4K HE25LN thermal imaging binoculars offer a 5,5x magnification, up to 22x (digital) can be increased. The zoom of the binoculars is very good, but could that Image stabilization can be improved. The image can be a bit shaky, especially at higher magnification levels, which is why it is advisable to place the binoculars on a stable surface, such as a pulpit, in order to obtain a blur-free image.
A special advantage of the Hikmicro Habrok 4K HE25LN is the daylight channel, which unlike many other manufacturers who use black and white channels, shown in color This enables outstanding image quality in 4K, resulting in a particularly clear and detailed display. Really great!
  • Night vision mode: Both the day and night vision channels of the Hikmicro Habrok 4K HE25LN is equipped with a CMOS sensor For improved image quality at night, a Integrated spotlight that amplifies residual light and thus enables better visibility. You can choose between two types of spotlights: an 850 nm and a 940 nm. These IR spotlights are called 25 L and 25 LN. Which spotlight you use in the end doesn't really matter. Both spotlights are perceived by the game to a certain extent, but they work really well.
The manufacturer specifies a detection range of 400 meters with the emitter, but this is not at all realistic. In practice, we have achieved up to a Distance of about 80 meters still a good picture achieved, but anything beyond that leads to a significant deterioration in image quality.
  • Thermal imaging channel: The thermal imaging channel of the Hikmicro Habrok 4K HE25LN is equipped with a smaller 256 sensor Despite the compact sensor size, it is ideal for quickly detecting whether something is in the field of view. This channel enables at short distances – up to 100 metres – a very good image quality, which is impressive considering the sensor size – great!
At greater distances the background becomes blurred, but at short distances the thermal imaging channel provides reliable and clear images. This makes the device very suitable for identifying nearby objects and checking what is in the area.
  • Laser range finder: The Hikmicro Habrok 4K HE25LN has a laser rangefinder that is particularly useful if you are not always in the same area or do not know the exact distances. This can be used to measure how far away a certain animal is. This way you can make sure that the distance is suitable for a shot or whether the target is further away than initially thought.
In practice, we have tested the laser rangefinder at distances of up to 600 meters and it works without any problems. This feature allows you to determine distances quickly and accurately, which makes hunting and observation much easier, so thumbs up!
