ThermTec Wild 350D – the top-class dual lens system

The WILD-D series represents the latest generation of the popular Cyclops-D thermal imaging devices. This series will not only replace the existing Cyclops range, but will even surpass it in many aspects. The design has been completely revised and refined.

The most modern sensor technology is used, which offers a system performance (NETD) of ≤ 18 mK. In combination with an optimized image algorithm, a razor-sharp and high-contrast image is created. Focusing is carried out according to an innovative principle via a focusing wheel located at the top, which can be adjusted very precisely with just one finger. In addition, the WILD-D series has a battery exchange system that is operated with the popular 18650 battery.

Thanks to the hotspot connection, the user can conveniently control the device via an app. This allows live images or recorded photos and videos to be shared in real time with friends or other users.

Dual viewing experience with 2.4x and 4.8x basic magnification

Thanks to the unique dual-field system and an innovative rotary switch, the basic magnification of the WILD-D series can be adjusted in a flash without having to readjust the focus. The smaller basic magnification combined with the large field of view offers considerable advantages in the forest, while the narrower field of view with higher basic magnification is perfect for the field. This makes the WILD-D series the ideal companion for every user.

Maximum sensor performance

The WILD-D series offers excellent system performance (NETD) of ≤ 18 mK thanks to its new high-sensitivity sensor and an optimized image algorithm. This technology provides improved thermal sensitivity and higher-contrast object images, which is particularly beneficial in poor weather conditions such as fog or rain. Detailed images are produced even with minimal temperature differences between the game and the environment.

Easy one-handed operation of the Wild-D

The WILD-D series features the tried and tested joystick control that was already appreciated in previous models. A new addition is a precise finger focus wheel that allows you to effortlessly adjust the focus. The entire device can therefore be operated comfortably with just one hand. Thanks to the wrist strap included in the delivery, the device sits securely and comfortably in your hand, regardless of whether you are right- or left-handed.

Removable battery system for longer use

The new WILD-D series features a user-friendly interchangeable battery system that is tailored to the needs of users. The popular 18650 battery, which is easy to charge and replace, ensures a long runtime. Two 18650 batteries and a charger are included in the delivery.

High definition AMOLED display

The WILD-D series is equipped with a high-resolution AMOLED display that offers a resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels. These miniature displays have a pixel density of over 1200 dpi and are self-luminous, which ensures exceptional contrast ratios of more than 10.000:1. The display works reliably even at extreme temperatures of up to -30°C.

Individual customization options for your visual experience

In order to meet the different requirements of users, the WILD-D series offers a variety of setting options. Sensor brightness, contrast, sharpness and anti-image noise can each be adjusted in 10 levels. The display brightness can be set in 5 levels and the backlight can be selected in three different colors (gray, blue, purple).

In addition, up to six color palettes can be managed and individually saved in the quick menu. The device also offers object and background modes as well as an ice mode that stabilizes the image during small movements.

AI object detection, distance measurement and notifications

With AI object detection and distance measurement, up to six objects can be automatically detected and their distance displayed directly. Thanks to the app-controlled AI notifications, you will immediately receive a message as soon as an object enters the camera's field of view. This notification contains information about the estimated distance and the type of object (human or animal). The notifications can be made acoustically, by vibration or silently.
