A highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor with an optimized NETD of <15 mK works together with a 12-megapixel CMOS sensor and switchable IR illumination (850 nm / 940 nm). This results in clear and stable images – whether in daylight, twilight, or complete darkness. Thanks to ThermTec AI calibration automatically optimizes image sharpness and stability, ensuring a smooth and detailed image even in dynamic situations. With balanced magnification and a detection range of up to 2600 meters, the device is ideal for efficiently scanning large areas. Intuitive operation and ergonomic design ensure comfortable viewing, even over extended periods.

The ThermTec The VENTUS 650L combines five key technologies in one system: highly sensitive thermal imaging (<15 mK), a powerful 4K Ultra CMOS camera, dual IR illumination, and a precise laser rangefinder. This combination enables reliable detection, clear identification, and accurate distance measurement – ​​even in challenging terrain and under difficult conditions.

The advanced 4K Ultra CMOS sensor with 12 megapixels delivers impressive detail.
In combination with the 0,5″ OLED display (1600 × 1200), a particularly clear and high-contrast image is created for a high-quality viewing experience.

The combination of basic magnification and stepless digital zoom up to 14,8x is complemented by AI-powered Thermal Super Resolution.
This ensures that even at high magnification, fine details are preserved and the image quality remains at a consistently high level.

Ergonomic operating concept – full control with one hand

The well-thought-out design with optimized weight distribution and hand rest allows for comfortable operation even during prolonged use.
The dual focus wheel control can be easily operated with one hand and allows for quick switching between modes – regardless of which hand is used.
