With its dual technology, the DXP50 delivers an unparalleled image in all conditions. The highly sensitive thermal imaging channel highlights the subtlest temperature differences, while the 4K digital channel reveals every contour and detail in vivid color during the day. Even in backlight, dense vegetation, or unfavorable topography, the image remains clear, high-contrast, and informative.

Automatic switching in low light

The 4K channel captures objects from just 10 meters away with impressive clarity – without refocusing. If the ambient light decreases, the system automatically switches to sensitive black and white mode. This way, you can enjoy a low-noise, high-contrast image with maximum detail, even in twilight.

Thermal imaging sensor with impressive range

In thermal imaging mode, the DXP50 operates with a European-made sensor (640×480 pixels, NETD < 25 mK). Even the smallest temperature differences are detected – ideal for observations in fog, rain, or high humidity. Combined with the high-speed F50/1.0 lens, the device achieves a detection range of up to 1800 meters – thus providing an impressive overview, even in complete darkness.

Four viewing modes give you complete control: digital, thermal imaging, or a combination of both. The picture-in-picture function lets you display a magnified image without losing sight of the overall picture. This lets you focus on the finest details while still maintaining an overview.

Perfect display through intelligent image processing

State-of-the-art algorithms automatically optimize each image. The thermal imaging channel realistically depicts low-contrast scenes such as grass, sky, or water. If necessary, the sensor sensitivity can be manually increased to reveal even more details. Smoothing filters and individually adjustable brightness and contrast ensure easy-on observation – even over extended periods.

The PULSAR The THERMION DUO DXP50 thermal imaging riflescope is IPX7 waterproof, shockproof, and operates reliably in temperatures from -20°C to +50°C. The ergonomic wide-angle eyepiece provides a comfortable viewing experience, while the ambidextrous thermal imaging lens ensures flexible operation—whether used with the left or right hand.
