The Pulsar Forward FN455S / F455S (without eyepiece) is the successor to the successful FN455 with a new IR illuminator. The highly sensitive CMOS sensor impresses with its very high resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels, which delivers a high-contrast black and white image, making it a very good digital night vision device at a low price.

Increased night sensitivity

The use of modern electronic components and original software optimization of signal processing ensure that the Forward FN455S / F455S (without eyepiece) has one of the highest sensitivity parameters in the infrared range (night sensitivity). This means that the Forward FN455S / F455S (without eyepiece) can be operated in deep twilight and often at night without IR emitters. High sensitivity in the range of 900-950 nm enables the device to be used with "invisible" infrared emitters.

"Invisible" IR emitter with 700 mW power and adjustable light point position

The new Pulsar Ultra-X940S removable IR illuminator emits 940 nm in the "invisible" range. The power of the IR illuminator can be varied in three adjustable power levels depending on the required irradiance. The optical part of the irradiation device enables flexible adjustment of the luminous flux direction for complete and uniform illumination of the observation area.

Over 500 meters observation distance at night

The detection of game structures even at greater distances is now even easier thanks to the good interaction of sensor, display, optics and the new IR emitter. This means detection ranges of up to 500 meters can be achieved.

Operation at low temperatures down to minus -25°C is possible. The frost-resistant AMOLED display ensures sharp imaging performance even when moving.
