On the The bottom is threaded incorporated that the Mounting on a stalking stick or tripod allowed.

The Hikmicro Gryphon in the test – can the revolutionary fusion technology convince?

Finally, of course, the most important questions still need to be clarified: How does it work? Hikmicro Gryphon in the precinct? Is it possible to respond clearly even from a distance? Is the image quality good? And above all: Is the camera's Fusion mode convincing?

The Gryphon GH35L combines thermal imaging and night vision technology in one device and also has one Built-in laser rangefinder. The good news first: the rangefinder has... Hikmicro Gryphon test good work achieved – we were actually able to put pieces on a distance of up to 500 m aim for without difficulty. There is no reason for us to complain here.

Unfortunately, things are completely different with the image quality and the fusion mode. With a 384 x 288 pixel sensor, the Gryphon GH35L obviously doesn't have high-end image reproduction. Accordingly Some of the images lack contrast and depth of detail – the quality is not bad, but it could be significantly better. Also the Fusion technology is not that exciting, as we had hoped. As individual modes Night vision and thermal imaging are convincing as usual. However, we cannot find any real added value with a merger; the image performance does not seem to be sufficient for that. The best thing to do is to make your own judgment based on the pictures in ours Video.

The Gryphon GH35L can also difficult to use as an all-rounder become. Because with one 13 m wide field of view at 100 m As a forest hunter you are relatively limited. The field hunter is better off with the Gryphon GH35L. Otherwise, the monocular offers the usual advantages of a modern night vision or thermal imaging camera: Below 16 GB storage space, video and photo documentation as well as the possibility of one WiFi connection.

Gryphon GH35L vs. GQ35L – what is the difference between the two devices?
