The Germanium lens F35/1.0 offers high transmission in the long-wave infrared (LWIR) range. Thanks to the high-precision manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image generated by the sensor of the Axion 2 XQ thermal imaging device is characterized by its clarity and detail.

Up to 11 hours of battery life on a single charge

A high-capacity rechargeable APS5 battery enables the thermal imager to operate for 11 hours continuously on a single charge. In a matter of seconds, the battery is removed from its battery housing and replaced with a new one. The battery is charged in a special charging cradle or within the device from a PC, a mains power system or a power bank via USB-C. The same sources are used to provide external power to a thermal imaging device.

1300m detection range

A powerful F35/1,0 lens combined with a highly sensitive 384×288@17 µm thermal imaging sensor offers exceptional shooting capabilities. This means that a standard object with a height of 1,8 m can be detected in complete darkness at a distance of up to 1300 m.

Variable magnification from 2x to 8x

The up to 4x digital zoom ensures improved sharpness and better recognition of an object at long distances. The zoom can be adjusted either gradually in 2x steps or continuously for a truly optimal field of view tailored to the respective situation.

Built-in photo and video recorder + free 16GB cloud storage

The recordings are copied to a computer hard drive via a USB-C port. Axion 2 XQ owners have 16 GB of storage space to store photos and videos taken with the device Pulsar-Cloud storage available. To do this, simply install the Stream Vision 2 mobile application, log in and connect the device to a smartphone via WiFi.

The integrated WiFi connects the Axion 2 XQ to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application, which opens up a variety of possibilities, such as: B. wireless software updates of the device, real-time image transfer from the device to the smartphone screen, publication of captured photo and video content on social media or transmission to messenger applications. Registered users also get 16GB of cloud storage for photos and videos taken with the device.

A selection of 8 color palettes

A choice of 8 color palettes allows the user to better observe their field of view, optimize the device for specific tasks and respond to changing observation conditions. White-Hot, Black-Hot and Red-Hot are optimal for detecting an object, Rainbow and Ultramarine increase the chances of detection and identification.
Red monochrome, sepia and violet are best for long night observations.

Waterproof according to IPX7

The Axion 2 XQ35 is waterproof to IPX7 to protect against heavy rain, snow or other moisture. The device is designed in such a way that it still works perfectly even if it is submerged in water up to 30 meter deep for up to 1 minutes.
