Thanks to its pocket size, the Axion fits ideally in one hand, providing excellent handling and great ease of use. The compact design makes it the ideal thermal imaging monocular for searching or spontaneous observation.

Great detection distance
A powerful lens together with the 12μm professional thermal imaging sensor offer exclusive discovery opportunities. A 1,8 meter high object can be discovered at a distance of 1300 meters in absolute darkness.

12 µm thermal imaging sensor
The new 12 µm thermal imaging sensor enables higher magnification and a greater observation distance. The very compact housing could also be constructed in this way.

Robust all-metal housing
The metal construction made of magnesium alloy ensures the device's dimensional stability and tensile strength with low weight and extremely good ergonomics.

Video and photo recording
The built-in video recorder is particularly important when it comes to video or photo recording of a special moment. All you have to do is press the REC button and recording starts immediately. So you can share videos with your friends, acquaintances or relatives. 16 GB of internal memory provides you with several hours of video recordings and hundreds of photos.

Stream vision app supported
The integrated Wi-Fi module allows the Axion to connect to Android or iOS smartphones or tablets. The combination of a smartphone and thermal imaging device offers many options such as direct image transmission, downloading and sharing of recorded media files or updating the firmware as well as many other advantages.

High optical magnification
Axion offers the highest magnification in the compact thermal imaging class. The optical magnification can be increased by digital zoom to effectively identify the observation objects. With the Axion XM30S, the basic optical magnification is 4,5x and can be increased digitally up to 18x.

Immediate switching on
Thanks to the innovative electronics, the device can start almost immediately. The quick start helps to save energy and extend the operating time. The Axion can be reactivated very quickly if necessary.

HD AMOLED micro display
High-contrast AMOLED microdisplay is characterized by its high resolution and ensures a sharp and vividly colored image. AMOLED technology offers a perfect quality image even at sub-zero temperatures.

Completely waterproof
IPX7 water protection protects the Axion from heavy rain, snow or other precipitation. The device can even survive submersion for 30 minutes and at a depth of 1 meter.

Low weight
Light weight becomes a particularly important parameter when it comes to long hikes, when every gram of equipment counts and must be carried on the back. The Axion weighs around 300 grams - no more than a normal rangefinder, but offers an exceptional number of functions.

Picture-in-picture mode
The Picture-in-Picture feature activated displays a small window with the zoomed part of the picture at the top of the screen.
