PIXFRA Draco D335-4K – Multispectral performance for day and night
The PIXFRA The Draco D335-4K combines thermal imaging technology and digital 4K day/night vision in a compact, lightweight, and practical thermal imaging binocular. It is designed for users who need to reliably identify details in both daylight and complete darkness. The combination of a thermal imaging sensor, high-resolution CMOS sensor, rangefinder (LRF), and IR illuminator creates a flexible system that covers a wide range of situations in the field.
Thermal imaging sensor and optical performance
The 384×288 thermal sensor with <15 mK NETD is highly sensitive, reliably detecting even small temperature differences. The 35 mm optics provide a field of view of 13,7 × 10,3 meters at 100 meters and a variable magnification of 3,8 to 30,4×. This allows for reliable detection of game even in dense vegetation or challenging terrain. The range of up to 1800 meters also offers ample capability for various hunting and observation scenarios.
4K digital night vision for maximum detail
The 4K day/night vision is based on a large 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor. This produces clear, detailed images with natural contours. The 14,4 × 8,8 meter field of view at 100 meters ensures stable observation. When there is no ambient light, the detachable 850 nm IR illuminator can be used without unnecessarily disturbing wildlife. This makes the device versatile for use both day and night.
Ergonomic and safe operating concept
Weighing in at around 620 grams, it PIXFRA The Draco D335-4K is lightweight and comfortably steady in the hand. Its shape promotes a relaxed grip, making it easy to use even for extended periods. The operating concept, with its multifunction dial and four-button layout, is deliberately based on classic binoculars. This ensures intuitive and reliable operation, even in the dark or while wearing gloves. The interpupillary distance is also adjustable between 60 and 74 mm.
Stable display and optimized image guidance
The PIXFRA The Draco D335-4K utilizes PIPS 3.0 image optimization and electronic image stabilization. This ensures a clear and steady picture, even in windy conditions, when the camera is moving, or other external factors are present. A defog function further assists in foggy or humid conditions. The 0,49" Full HD OLED display produces a high-contrast, pleasant image that can be comfortably viewed for extended periods.
Rangefinder for reliable assessment
The integrated rangefinder reliably measures distances up to 1000 meters. This facilitates accurate target acquisition and helps to realistically estimate distances. This offers a significant advantage, especially on slopes or in low light conditions.
Operating time and energy supply
The PIXFRA The Draco D335-4K achieves a runtime of approximately eight hours and can be powered via AC adapter, power bank, or external charger. Since the device also works with just one 18650 battery, it remains flexible and ready for use even when a battery needs to be replaced.
Transport and carrying system
The included PIXFRAThe chest pocket keeps the device securely attached to the body. If released, it remains fixed and cannot fall off. This allows for easy switching between observation and movement without the device becoming a hindrance.
